Since 1979, Western Canadian cities have hosted the annual Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival. This festival is a 3-day event held during the Thanksgiving weekend where Hungarian culture, music, art and dance come alive and bring together hundreds of dancers, musicians and folk enthusiasts. Over 10 participating dance groups from across Western Canada travel to the host city to celebrate Hungarian culture and dance.
Vancouver was honoured to host the 39th annual festival welcoming many dancers, folk enthusiasts and wonderful guests.
